Final and the last blog.. maybe?

This semester is finally comes to the end. I have 3 finals to take next week then I can eventually have a vacation away from studying. I've been studying the whole entire 2010 since I took the summer school. But before the celebration, I have to give my last weekend to the textbook and library. I just want to say it has been a really nice semester in my English class. Professor. Kominek was a cool teacher. She makes the class interesting by her humor and group discussion. I love the way she list down each essay step by step, so I don't feel frustrated about writing the essay. However, I feel really bad and embarrassed sometimes in her class because I always got in class late... I believe it is one of my bad habits that I still need to work on. I just want thanks her for being there for me when I need help for my essay, and have lots of patients for the students. :) Additionally, this is probably going to be my last time to write on this blog since this the last assignment for my blog. But maybe I will keep continuing writing later on if I feel like it? Or I might start doing video blog since I wanted to do that a long time ago. Maybe this is a new start to do that :)

Lack of sleep = Horrible day

Last night, I went to bed at 6 A.M in the morning. Because I have to prepare a group project and presentation for my account class today. Additionally, I have to write my research paper for my English class. I choose one topic to write like two weeks ago. But I have been having a hard time to find some good sources to support my idea. I changed my topic in the last minutes.. So I nee to come out a new topic and find some good sources again. I was very frustrated and stressing about my essay and the presentation. I was planning stay up all night to finish these two things. Fortunately, i finished everything at 6 A.M, and my body started feeling tired. So I knocked out right away... it feels like it has just been 30 minutes only. I woke up at 8:30 A.M and getting ready to go my English class. I feel like a zombie when I entered the classroom. I feel horrible because I was late to class. During the break, I went to grab a coffee to keep me awake, but it makes me feel more sick and want to puke. After English class, I realized I forgot my presentation shirt was at home.. So I had to drive all the way back home and grab it before it's too late. I realized if you dont have enough sleep, your day will just be a mess, and everything goes wrong.

New Club Promotion

I started promoting a new club in Costa Mesa call Sutra every Friday night. Sutra is one of the best night club in Orange County. It is in the end of the 55 freeway. I'm excited to do the promotion with them. They usually play house music and top 40. People who go there are usually high class and dress nice. Celebrities often performing in Sutra. For example, next Friday, they will have special guests which are Snoop dogg and Ice cube performing there. The only thing I don't really like is the distance. I need to drive about 30 minutes from my house to Costa Mesa. However, since Sutra is one of the best club, I think it's worth it to drive over there. In addition, I hope I can Dj at sutra one day. That will be an amazing experience.

Craziest Halloween Party

One of my friends' friend works at a rave party before Halloween. The event was on Friday night from 9PM~2AM. It was also one of their friend's birthday. So they were planning to go party there and invited me to go with them. I was excited to go because it is a rave party which means they only play house, trance and European techno. Plus, it is a 21+ event. So I won't see those teenagers running around. I decided I'm going to dress as an avatar since it's a halloween party.

Me and my friend went to her friends house for pre-party and meeting their  friends. After everybody was getting ready. We called 2 taxis to take us to Grove in Anaheim. I was very excited to get the party start it. When we arrive there, people were freaking out by the way I look. It was real entertaining. After we go in to the building. I started feeling the music and dance. Because I'm a break dancer, so some people who were filming the party were all focus filming at me. I just let them do whatever they want and enjoy my time. After the party was over, we couldn't find any taxi around there. Somehow my friends jump in to a "party bus", so I just follow them going to that bus. It was crazy, everyone in the party bus were under the influence and dancing around. I have no clue where were we going.

Some people say we are going to Vegas which I dont really care at that point. We were on the party bus around 30 minutes and it stopped. Everyone has to get out. I realized we were in a street in Costa Mesa. Everyone started walking to a big nice mansion. I still had no idea where I was and who's house was it. Right after we walked in to the house, I found out some of my friends that I knew long time ago were at that house.  We were partying until 7,8 AM in the morning. And I knocked out. It was the most craziest Halloween party I've ever been.

New Blog?

I love to explore good new or old house music on the internet. And I love to share the good music to my friends. Every time when I found some good house music or cool video on YouTube, I often share it on the facebook so my friends can hear or see it too. The funny part is I realize people like my taste of music, one of my friends even told me that he always looking for some good music, since I start posting good music on my facebook. All he does now is browsing my facebook from his Iphone and listening my playlist. According to what he said, right now I'm thinking maybe I should just create a new Blogger and put all the music I like on it, plus I want to start shooting some video of my regular life on YouTube. It will be a good idea putting them on the blog too. Therefore, if people want to listen some good house music or know more about me, they can just come to my blog and have fun! :)

News => Rap?

Again, I was browsing YouTube for some funny video. And then I see this news about a stranger who claim to a second floor window. He broke in and tried to rap a woman, but she screw and her brother fought with the stranger, even though the stranger ran away during the fight. I didn't understand why this simple news can has 14,000,000 views. However, I found out that answer by the other video next to it..


This is the video I saw after the news. Someone put some beats with the news and made it become a rap song, which was actually pretty cool and creative! It also has 10 million views with this video. You will never imagine a simple news can turns out a rap song. And how many people actually view it.


these creative Youtube videos become a very big media nowadays. I wonder how many people actually spend time on youtube than TV everyday. It kind of inspired me to make some interesting videos just for fun. And see how it turns out after I put it out there! :)

Teenage Dream... REALLY?

So.. apparently I saw someone post on facebook about this video of a kid singing on youtube. The song is called Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. I wasn't really expect to see anything funny when I click the video. But when I started watching it, I was like this kid looks so strange. He looks super funny not only just his face but also his facial expression. I can tell he tried really hard to sing this song, but thats the whole point makes this video become so funny. I was wondering how many people actually view this video. Right after I link to youtube, I could not believe my eyes! This video has 11,000,000 views! This kid just simply recorded himself sing a popular song for 4 minutes, and he got 11,000,000 views? That was like a big shock for me. I check out some of his other videos. There were basically all the same thing. He record it through his Macbook in his room randomly. I also checked out his channel. Unbelievably, he has the top 100 subscribe this month and this week. I am actually feel happy for this little kid. I cant imagine how many times people make fun of him. Now he probably finally can have some confident of himself! :) And now I'm thinking I should do a video next time too. haha

An Interesting Bad Day

I had an interesting bad day. It was kind of bad, but I'm laugh at it because it was pretty funny. First of all, because I was studying my account midterm last night, I woke up late in the morning. My class starts at 9 A.M, and I woke up at 8:30 A.M. I was rush to the class, but obviously I was late.. After I got out my English class, I'm rushing to my account class which is my midterm. I was nervous and hoping the questions would be easy. Unfortunately, I found out 2 out of 5 questions are the ones I didnt study, and I was pissed off at myself because I know exactly where those materials in the textbook. But it was too late, I cant really do anything about it.. After I finished my exam, I went to make friend's house to make some beats for house music. While I'm about to go home, I found out my car battery just died, so I had to call AAA insurance to come help me out. The person who checked my battery said I should change the battery because it will die anytime in the future. He offered me an AAA battery which cost 114$. I opened my wallet, I realized I had the exact 114$ in it. It feels like everything just happen for a reason or something. Later on the way home, my car ran out off gas, so I have to go put some gas inside. I usually put 20$ cash in the machine, but since I dont have any cash. I use my card to pay it. I was talking with my friend while I was getting the gas, and I totally forgot about I was getting the gas. Therefore, it stopped itself automatically after my car was full of gas. It came out 32$. I was laughing at myself that I forgot about it. It wasn't like a really bad day, but it was just something you don't know why it happened sort of day.

A Funny Program on My MacBook

Today, I randomly found an anti-theft program for Mac. The program is called IAlertU. Basically, this is how the program works: if people try to touch or steal my MacBook when I'm not there. It will start making noises like the car anti-theft system. They cannot turn it off the volume nor move the mouse, the alert will keep making noises until the user type in the password. In addition, the most interesting thing about this program is that it will automatic take a picture of the person, whoever is in front of the Macbook at the moment, and it will send it to my email. Therefore, if someone tried to touch my Macbook, or even tried to steal it. I will get the image of whoever is it in my email right away. So if my Macbook do gets stolen, I can get the image and send it to police or something like that. The only way to shut down the program without knowing the password is to turn off the power. I think this is just a cool and funny program. I believe the best way to anti-theft is always be careful where you go or where you put your computer at. Don't ever let others have a chance to steal it.

I Love Ice Cream

I love eating ice cream! It is one of my favorite dessert. My favorite flavor  is chocolate chips as you can see above. It taste so good when you feel the ice and the chocolate melting inside your mouth. The best time to eat ice cream is during the summer time, all the hotness just disappear in a second. I'm a lucky guy because my roommate works at the ice cream factory; they produce Baskin-Robbins' ice cream. So if I want eat a certain flavor, my roommate can bring me the fresh ice cream which just from the factory when he comes home. And all the ice cream are loaded in those big boxes. In addition, when I want to eat the ice cream, I need to grab the whole box out from the refrigerator, and I can seat in the living room start enjoying my ice cream. The box is so big that I usually have to eat 5-10 times to finish the whole box. We usually have 5-7 flavor of ice cream in the freezer, so if I get tired of one kind, I can just grab another one and enjoy it. Eating free ice cream anytime I want is so awesome!

Cheater Will Never Find Love

Today, I just found out my girlfriend cheat on me. Here is the story, she forgot to log out her facebook account when she spent the weekend with me, so when I came home today. My computer was still have her facebook account on it. And I saw her was chatting with a guy earlier on the chat bar, so I clicked on it see what are they talking about. Boom! The true just came out right in my face. She was chatting with this guy that they are planning to hook up tonight, I couldn't believe my eyes, but it is black and white showing in my face. The part that makes me really mad is the guy asked her if I find out she is hang out with other guy, I will be very upset and mad. But she said I won't never find out, dont worry about it. I start shaking after I seen all the conversation. I've been treating her very nice that no guy can treat her this nice, and what I got back from her is cheating on me. I dont know if it hurts anymore because I dont have feeling for her no more. In addition, the interesting thing of this whole thing is that she still doesn't know I found out I cheat on her. So I'm planning to tell her about this next weekend. And the best thing I can do right now is move on. It is hard to believe, but it is the reality. I just have to be strong and knowing that I will find that right girl one day. Because cheater will never find love.

2010 Is Almost Over

Time goes so fast when you don't pay attention at it. It's already September, and soon its going to be October. I feel like this year I grew up and learned a lot, not only just the knowledge but also mentally. It is just I feel I've been living and studying in California or Orange County for a while, I really want to take a break and just go for a vacation travel different places. I'm planning to go visit my family in Singapore since they just recently moved there, I think I will fly to there after I finished this seamster. It is not just because I want go take a break, but also I haven't seen my whole family almost 3 years. I never been to Singapore, but I hear it is pretty nice in there, and everything is expensive. My little sister told me she doesn't like living there because they have a law that no one can chewing gum, they even have a warning at the airport saying that chewing gum is forbidden. Oh well, I think I can survive without chewing gum in there for a few weeks. I miss my family and can't wait to see them soon. 

My MacBook Pro :)

I finally got my MacBook Pro last Friday! It is the 13' MacBook Pro, and because the promotion I got a free IPod with a free Canon printer. However, I need to pay it first and then Apple will give me the rebate money next month. I've been saving all my money just for this little sweet thing! It looks so clean and classic, and most importantly it runs so fast. I was downloading a file with 700 MB, and it only took about 10~15 minutes to download the file. My old computer probably has to spend the whole night to download it, and it probably still downloading when I wake up in the morning. The reasons why I bought a MacBook Pro is basically I need it for DJ and YouTube video editing. It runs really smoothly from download a file to install it and use it. It's a little strange for me to use Mac operation system in the beginning because I'm a PC user, but I get used to MacBook within a second and I LOVED IT!!

The Lost of Atlantis Rave

Last Friday night, I got invited to a rave party called " The Lost of Atlantis", because my friend was working in there as a stuff, and he also knows the DJ. His job is to put all the speakers and lights on stage, it can takes him the whole day to do so, it is definitely not a easy work. But because of him, the bass was amazingly good that night! And most importantly, me and my roommate got inside for free :) The original ticket was 60$. I was so happy that I went to a rave for free because I got the connection! However, there is only one thing I didnt really like is that there were too many kids. I think the rave was 16+ or all ages. Therefore, I saw so many young people that are under 21, I suddenly feel so old and uncomfortable. It feels like I'm partying and having a good time, and then I see my little sister is partying next to me. It just feels really weird. Not to mention, most of them are on drugs, it is very obvious that they are under the influence. I don't know what's wrong with kids these days? Why do they have to take drug to have fun? There are a lot of things that they can have fun without drug. People go to rave because of the drugs; I go to rave because of the music.

A Life of a DJ.

Yes! This is my baby DJ equipment. I love music so much that I want to be the one who control the whole party. First of all, I got my DJ equipment about three months ago. I found it on craigslist for a really good deal, and I became a friend with the guy who sold me the DJ because he produce his own music too. My goal for DJ life is to master mixing and build a good connections with my audiences for about 2 years, and I want to start producing my own music and beat with my friends. By the way, the music I spin are mostly based on house and trance music. For example, it will be some music like this or







I think it will be awesome that I can work which is DJing but having fun at the same time. And there is alway new music in the future. In addition, I'm waiting to get my Macbook Pro, then I will possibly start spinning at the club after 2 or 3 months once I feel like I'm ready to show people what good music is all about. I wish I can spin at the big concert with my own music such as EDC or the upcoming event Nocturnal.

Don't Judge A Book by The Cover.

I love and not afraid of trying new things, you can just tell by my hair. I had tried all kinds of hair styles before; I had Mohawk, cornrow, wolf hair cut,  perm, crimp, wave, etc. It is funny that people always like to judge you by your hair. When I have a Mohawk, people would think I'm a teenager that does not care anything and would do something stupid. For me, hair is just a piece of art! I'm an art person, I love creativity things. I do not understand why people always have to judge a person by the way he/she looks? It is ridiculous. In addition, I had my dreadlock for about 10 months now; dreadlock is always has been my last hair style I would try, because as long as I lock it, there is only way I can change the hair style by shaving all my hair off. Most of the people like my style, they often tell me that I'm the first Asian with blonde dreads that they have ever seen in their life. Well, I usually tell them: " life is short, just enjoy yourself and do anything that can make you happy!"
